Originally from Southern California, Mitch began his professional surveying career in 1984. He has spent his career in private practice specializing in the Legal Principles of Boundary Surveying and Mapping. Mitch and his wife have been married almost 30 years, and have three grown children. Away from the office, Mitch has been a volunteer with the youth groups at their church. Mitch has also been an avid volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America serving as a local Scoutmaster in Spokane and camp staff leading 110 mile canoe trips down the Missouri River in Montana.
Mitch has a B.S. in Surveying and Photogrammetry from Fresno State University and a M.S. from Kaplan University. He started Duryea & Associates in 1993, and as President, is responsible for client development, customer service, and quality control. Mitch is licensed in Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Hawaii.
